Why we created our hands free digital signage package

We created our display package to solve a problem for an existing client. The idea was to replace an existing large magnetic sign, difficult and expensive to change as well as time consuming for all parties involved. Enter our fully customizable cloud based hands free digital signage package that not only solved there issue by saving them time & money but also by enhancing their brand by adding a chic and modern first impression to their business. This concept worked so well we now provide this amazing package and service to clients all over the country in multiple industries.

BEFORE YOU RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE

  • Free Consultation | We start with a Free Consultation to map out your content strategy,  find your display applications, any expectations you may have and your design look & feel.
  • Place Your Order | Once you Place Your Order we will map out your design.
  • Pre-program | We will then Pre-program your display with your content.
  • Ship it out! | Ship it out to you, usually within two weeks.

AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE

  • Install | Once you receive your package, you can install it on your TV or Display using our step-by-step guide. You can also give us a call and we will walk you through the process. Installation usally takes around 15 minutes.
  • Hands Free! | Once installed, We update your display so you don’t have to. We will update your displays as much as you need and how often in terms of your display application. We will go over this in your consultation.

Key Notes: Both a single screen display and a display wall of 4 screens are considered 1 display.

Depending on your initial display design setup, your display may consist of one large graphic throughout the entire display or multiple graphics within a display. Each section within your display’s design structure is considered 1 graphic. Example: If you have 3 sections that display different graphics within one display this will count for three graphics. A graphic can be any amount of text combined with pictures you provide or max 2 royalty free stock photos per graphic that we provide.

FAQ

Do I have to have a creative package?

No. You can order the display package by itself.  We still update and manage your display, however you will need to provide the creative beyond the initial setup. We will provide a template size specific to your display that you can design your new material that will go on the display and send it over to us at david@imprintspecialties.com and we will put it right up.

Does this display work with WiFi?

Yes! Our displays do work off Wifi however if you would prefer to hard wire the media player we will provide an Ethernet adapter in your package as no additional cost. This allows your displays to constantly be connected to the internet which allows us to update your display with your content at your request at all times.

How do directories work?

Directories are managed by a Google Sheet that will save and sync to your display automatically within a specific time that we set. Updating the directory can be as easy as sending us an email at david@imprintspecialties.com and asking us to add, change, or delete a specific item. Data changes like this are included in your regular display package fee. We will also share the Google Sheet with you so you can make changes as well.

How do I order?

How do I update my display?

For data updates such as changing names, prices, etc., simply send us an email at david@imprintspecialties.com and we will have it updated within 24 hours. If you need it updated sooner just let us know and we will take care of it.

For design updates, if you have a creative package, you will send us the details and we will design it and update it for you. If you do not have a creative package, we will initially send you a template specific to your display that you can create and send you artwork to us and we will have it updated within 24 hours. If you need it updated sooner just let us know. We are happy to work with you.

How do the Creative Packages work?

When you sign up for a creative package, there are several ways we can work with you.

  • We will collaborate with you to create the flyers/graphics that represent your message.
  • We recommend working one month in advance, what this means is that we will design, e.g. February’s graphics in January so when February comes we will have your new graphics on your display on the 1st day of the month or the days specified by you.
  • We can create 2 of your graphics every 24 hours so if you have “Creative Silver” Which is 10 graphics a month this will take a min. of 5 days to create, if revisions are needed this time-frame may be extended a bit.
  • If you are a busy lifestyle brand, e.g. Crossfit, etc., and want your display updated without approval say with motivational messages on top of photos of intense activity, we will create these graphics and upload them each month without your approval so your display is constantly updated with new content keeping you current with little to no effort on your part.
  • Day-parting! Sometimes your brand needs different ads shown at different times of the day, for example restaurants may have different ads shown for breakfast than for dinner. We can schedule these ads for you to make sure you maximize the potential of your market.
  • Our displays are completely custom so if you have a different implementation method than listed above, we will make it happen.
How do waiting lists work?

Waiting lists are similar to directories. They are managed by a Google Sheet that will save and sync to your display automatically within a specific time that we set.

We will share the Google Sheet with you so you can make changes as needed. Your spreadsheet will save & sync automatically to you display within 60 seconds.

What do I need in order to use your display package?

Our display packages work on any TV with an HDMI input. You just need to provide the TV & mount. All flat screen TV’s today our outfitted with HDMI inputs so you can’t go wrong, this keeps the cost down for you. No need to choose a smartTV as our media player is WiFi enabled. However if you have a smartTV that is perfectly fine as well. Once you have your TV mounted where you want it, our display package comes with everything needed to install your pre-programmed media player already programmed with your design and functionality. Basically all  you have to do is plug it in and connect to the internet. We have a detailed step-by-step guide that will make this process even easier. Ofcourse if you have any questions or would like us to walk you through the process, just let us know the time you plan to install the media player and we will be on the phone to walk you through the process.

What does “FREE* Initial Standard Layout” mean?

Many times companies want to get started with digital signage but they don’t know where to start.

Our FREE* Initial Standard Layout will be created from your vision or a collaboration of our collective visions during your initial consultation and will be preprogramed on your display before you receive it. This allows you to get your display up and running immediately and have the confidence it will look amazing and be done correctly.

To dive a little deeper, In our initial consultation we will map out what elements such as news/rss feeds; weather; sales, event, motivational graphics, etc.;  informational tickers, and how many different graphic elements you would like on the screen at one time. Once we have this information we will create your layout and send you a live preview of how your display will look and be viewed. Once you approve your layout it will be programmed and your plug & play package will be sent out for you to install.

*Note: To what extent is the initial layout Free? If all your content, images, videos, etc. is provided to us and no custom animation is needed your initial layout will most likely qualify to be free.

Standard Layout Effects: Directories, Scrolling, fades, and other effects to that nature are considered standard and may be included in your FREE initial setup. Content will be provided by client unless a creative package has been purchased then we will take care of everything.

Custom Layout Effects: If you provide static images and need these images to move around the screen and or change sizes, or have motion effects such as steam added to static images, or other effects of this nature; a video effect will need to be created. These types of effects are considered custom and you will receive a custom quote specific to your needs.

What does “Hands Free” mean?

Hands Free means once installed, you do not have to update your display yourself. Meaning you do not need to learn any software or have any technical skills. We do this in two ways:

  • If you have the display package without a creative package, you create the designs and send them over and we put them up for you.
  • If you have the creative package, we do it all for you!
What will I receive with my order?

You will receive our display package which includes the following Harware:

  • Pre-programmed Plug & Play media player (You will receive a larger more powerful media player with the Display Wall package needed to power up to 4 displays)

  • Video Adapter (Only with Display Wall Package)

Design: 

Your initial structure & design is on us! (You will need to provide any brand specific images & photography if needed such as “Apparel Photoshoot for a specific brand, Restaurant menu photography of specific dishes, etc.)

Free Consultation:

We will set up an appointment either in person or over the phone to discuss the possibilities for your displays initial design.
